Hi, I’m Leen. I’m a systems engineer who gets excited about building robust infrastructure and understanding why things break.
I’ve spent 8 years working on distributed systems at scale - from payment processing systems handling hundreds of thousands of transactions per second, to cloud infrastructure and IP management. Before that, I researched cryptographic protocols and Bitcoin anonymity systems.
These days, I’m co-founding RadKits, a SaaS platform helping radiologists improve their workflows and report quality. Building a product from scratch is teaching me everything infrastructure work didn’t - talking to users, iterating fast, and making product decisions with incomplete information.
I write about the technical problems I’m solving (ProxySQL query routing, encryption schemes, local LLM setups) and what I’m learning about building products. I’ll also write about whatever else catches my interest like health, psychology, philosphy, games, ….
Currently exploring product engineering roles where I can ship fast, talk to users, and work across the full stack.
